How much to use
| Recipe | Amount | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Golden latte, 300 ml | ¼–½ tsp | Whisk into a little warm milk first |
| Smoothie, 300 ml | ¼–½ tsp | Good with mango, banana or pineapple |
| Rice, 250 g uncooked | ¼–½ tsp | Stir into the cooking water |
| Curry or soup, 4 servings | ½–1 tsp | Fry briefly in the oil first |
| Tofu or egg scramble, 2 servings | ¼ tsp | Add to the fat in the pan |
| Salad dressing, 100 ml | ¼ tsp | Whisk into the oil first |
| Cake or muffins, per 250 g flour | ½–1 tsp | Sift in with the flour |
Starting points only: colour and taste vary with the recipe. Add more a pinch at a time, as large amounts taste bitter.
Tip: Stir it into a little warm oil, butter or milk before adding the rest, so the colour spreads evenly without yellow specks. In batters, too much baking soda turns it reddish-brown.
